not your average peanut butter oatmeal cookies

2 cups flour

2 cups rolled oats

2 tsp baking powder

1 tsp salt

1/2 cup canola oil

3 T ground flax seed…….if you don’t have flax seed you can add an additional 1/4 cup of canola oil (i always put flax seed in baked goods, on salads, and in dips…’s a super good source of fiber and promotes a healthy heart and gut… “they” say)

3/4 cup of peanut butter

1 cup raw cane sugar

1 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup rice or soy milk

2 tsp vanilla extract

1 cup dark chocolate chips

add dry ingredients to the wet, and mix. the dough will be firm and moist. spoon onto cookie sheet and bake 8-10 minutes until slightly golden.
