these are too fun. i'll have to make these asap. she has tons of cute themed ones too, but i always fall for the plain-ol-jane-monochromatic version =) find more cakepops from bakerella here.
thanks mom, for introducing these to me!
love these :) my addiction of miniature gets me everytime! wish they sold 'em in smaller quantity.

i made these earrings with a piece of coral while visiting st. petersburg beach where my friend got married. this coral is really special to me...i found it as one piece. it was conjoined at the ends with a almond shaped negative space running between the two halfs. originally i thought it would become a necklace but the color, wabi-sabi imbalance and surface, with its prominent "eyes" deemed it perfect for these earrings.
i am in awe with this etsy shop, PULPmiscellania. these tiny little bone collections are beautiful. i love that the remains of a number of lovely little creatures are collected and with time and care are brought to another level of beauty by creating these unique specimens of curiosity.
these bones are the remains of mice, voles, birds, mink, fish, while some of the bones have an unknown origin and were found in owl pellets. AND, not to worry, no animals were harmed by humans to create these specimens.

i made this piece about 9 years ago for my mother in law. one of my earliest multi-pendant necklaces. it was fun to see this piece a few weeks ago when my mother in law brought it with her to visit. i still really liked it after all this time which really surprised me...normally i'm way on to the next and newest creations.
