new favorite plant...the chenille plant. we got one of these for chris' mom recently and i've been thinking about getting one to hang outside the studio. i love the colorful chenille cat-like tails that grow and frolic in the breeze. if you happen to get one for yourself just keep them out of reach from your pets. the blooms are poisonous to dogs.
oh, rocker dilemnia. i have been on the prowl for an old rocker and can't seem to find one that's all around perfect..comfy, tall back, modern, fun color, hmm!! the search continues.
if it were all about looks, this one is a beauty...found at belmodo.
i recently came across some pictures of alexander mcqueen's ingenius work thanks to my love of the blog simply olive. it's truly sad that he has passed on. art and fashion will forever have a void, a true master mind of his trade.

thanks art fans of austin that came out to support handmade austin women last weekend. it was a huge success all around and a really great time. here's a few images of my display and pieces i showed.
here's a really shabby picture of my new white plexi display. it was awesome to be able to write the prices/materials for each piece just next to the piece...i've been wanting to make that happen for some time now and my old display was not conducive for that. the white background seemed to show my work well. i'm happy with the result...yay!!!
the 1st, 3rd and 4th images taken by photographer, rebecca bauer.
new acid green color available in the sewn grow.paddle earrings with pale pink thread. i will post these soon in my etsy shop!
